Work with a partner to write a proposal for an excursion. Pair up with someone who wanted a similar excursion. We can write proposals for a term 3 and a term 4 activity. Mrs Swiderski and Ms Reid will select the winning proposals. (One per term.)
So if you want your proposal to be the winner think carefully about your excursion venue, the aims and the learning activities surrounding it.
Good literacy skills are crucial when producing a piece of formal writing.
Use the following proforma and remember the litaracy skills we want to develop in the proposal. Don't forget the excursion (and the learning before and after it) should enable students to:
develop research skills
learn in-text referencing and creating a bibliography
interview skills
public speaking
When using the form please remember:
Is it just a word document and things will move around the page and can be deleted. Perhaps keep an original version in your h drive and then begin a new version for the actual proposal.
